Britney Spears advertises for a Harvard graduate to run her Facebook profile
The pop singer, who was last year’s most searched celebrity on Google, has decided she wants an intelligent candidate from the famous American Ivy League university to keep her online audience happy.
With millions logging on to the sexy singers profiles everyday, Spears says she needs a web networking manager to keep her fans updated on the hour.
The job listing for ‘Britney Spears 2.0 Media Manager’, was posted by Broadcasting Unlimited, the management agency behind her website BritneySpears.com.
But the search for her social media guru was restricted to a private job board which can only be viewed by IT students attending Harvard.
The 27-year-old is a prolific user of social networking sites Facebook, MySpace and blog site Twitter.
Spears is looking for a top graduate to update her status, blogs and news feed. The salary is not specified.
Among the job requirements the star states: “The person must be knowledgeable in all social networks such as MySpace and Facebook and possess excellent communication skills.”
Spears’ Twitter account recently fell victim to computer hackers who posted a lewd blog for the 14,000 fans who subscribe to her site to read.
The offending message was quickly removed.
A spokesman for Spears said: “We did get hacked. We apologise for any offence caused to Britney’s fans and Twitter followers … we never want to offend anyone.”
